This is the beginning of Abraham's wish to have a righteous son, and he prayed to his LORD for a “RIGHTEOUS” son.
1. Quran 37:100
My Lord, grant me of the righteous."

==> Abraham praying for a “RIGHTEOUS” Son was left unanswered, except the good news of a FORBEARING boy <==
2. Quran 37:101

And when he reached with him exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast."
a) Arabic root: ص ب ر
Meaning: صَبْر (ṣabr)
to be patient, be forbearing, have patience, take patience, persevere, to bear calmly, patiently, stoutly, endure
Important Note:
At this stage, there was no mention of a child being a future Prophet or a righteous one, except a forbearing child.
4. Quran 37:103
Then when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
5. Quran 37:104

We called out to him, "O Ibrahim
6. Quran 37:105

Thus we reward the good-doers.
12. Quran 37:111
Indeed, he was of Our believing servants.
Note:
In Quran 37:100, Ibrahim ("Abraham") wanted to have a righteous son, but there was no answer, except a Forbearing son. Abraham was probably unaware of his Lord's plan, but subsequently, both Abraham and his Forbearing son passed his Lord's trial successfully.
====> THIS IS THE MOMENT OF TRUTH <======
FINALLY, IBRAHIM ("ABRAHAM") WISH TO HAVE A RIGHTEOUS SON WAS GRANTED.
13. Quran 37:112
Isḥāq ("Isaac")
And We gave him good tidings of Isḥāq ("Isaac"), a prophet from among the righteous.
a) Arabic root: ص ل ح
Meaning: to be good, right, proper, in order, righteous, pious, godly,
Let's go back to Quran 37:100 to relook at Ibrahim ("Abraham") praying for a "Righteous - الصَّالِحِينَ" child, but Allah gave
him a "Forbearing - حَلِيمٍ" son instead.
In Quran 37:102, both Abraham and his unnamed forbearing child were given a trial.
Quran 37:103, both of
them had passed the trial. But still, the child was not identified as
"Righteous" just yet, until Quran 37:112 announced it.
a) Good news
b) Forbearing child
c) Righteous child
========================
All the above criteria are pointed at Isḥāq ("ISAAC").
========================
===> Ibrahim ("Abraham"), Isḥāq ("Isaac") and their future descendants were blessed <==
14. Quran 37: 113
And We blessed him and Isḥāq ("Isaac") and their offspring good-doers and clear unjust to himself.
==> Prophethood line up from Isḥāq ("Isaac") lineage <==
15. Quran 37:114
And verily We conferred favor upon Moses and Aaron.
16. Quran 37:115
And We saved them and their people from the great distress
17. Quran 37:116
And We helped them so they became the victors.
18. Quran 37:117
And We gave them the clear book
19. Quran 37:118
And We guided them on the straight path.
==> THE TORAH WAS PRESERVED TO BE PASSED DOWN FOR NEXT PROPHETHOOD < ==
20. Quran 37:119
And We left for them among later generations
21. Quran 37:120
"Peace upon Moses and Aaron."
======================================================================
Other Quran verses also gave a strong indication that Isaac and his descendants are the chosen family to inherit the Scripture and Prophethood.
Quran 45:16
And We did certainly give the Children of Israel the Scripture and judgment and prophethood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them over the worlds.
Quran 25:35
And We had certainly given Moses the Scripture and appointed with him his brother Aaron as an assistant.
Quran 40:53
And We had certainly given Moses the guidance, and We caused
the Children of Israel to inherit the
Scripture.
Quran 29:27
And We gave to Him Isaac and Jacob
and placed in his descendants prophethood and scripture. And We gave him
his reward in this world, and indeed, he is in the Hereafter among the
righteous."
Quran 3:33
Indeed, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of 'Imran over the worlds.
Quran 33:7
And, when We took from the prophets their covenant and from
you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and
We took from them a solemn covenant.
Quran 12:38
And I have
followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it
was not for us to associate anything with Allah. That is from the favor
of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not
grateful.
Quran 19:58
Those were the ones upon whom Allah
bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of
those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of
Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the
verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in
prostration and weeping.
Quran 6:84
And We gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - all [of them] We guided. And Noah, We guided before; and among his descendants, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the doers of good.
Quran 11:71
And his Wife was standing, and she smiled. Then we gave her good tidings of Isaac, and after Isaac, Jacob.
Quran 11:72
She said, "Woe to me! Shall I give birth while I am an old woman and this, my husband, is an old man? Indeed, this is an amazing thing!"
Quran 11:73
They said, "Are you amazed at the decree of Allah? May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Honorable."
======================================================================
The
above surah has mentioned Ibrahim (“Abraham”) and Isḥāq (“Isaac”) by
name. And subsequently, Moses and Aaron became the first to receive the Torah
Scripture.
Since the Quran has eliminated Ishmael from the prophethood lineage, and therefore Muhammad was a FALSE Prophet.
